New prices

As from the 1st March 2007 there are new prices for the range of notice boards. It’s not all bad news, some products have gone down in price, although it is fair to say that the majority have risen due to rising energy costs. However be rest assured that we will monitor these prices and re-adjust wherever possible….Don’t forget the discounts on volume sales. For more information contact either Gill or Sue in the Sundeala Sales Office on 01453 540900

NBS PLUS

Sundeala products will be available in the next update of NBS Plus. In signing up for the National Building Specification we believe it will help simplify and tighten our already strong specification base.

Forest Education Initiative

Continuing with Sundeala’s environmental perspective we are now associate members of FEI. Under the “Funding your Future” campaign the FEI is effectively influencing young people, by catching their interest and imagination about the future of forestry and timber derived products. Sundeala’s support of the scheme will help provide a positive environmental and economic need for wood to be used in paper, furniture and construction materials, guiding the young to look upon our industry as a good business with career opportunities.

Tree Planting

A 4 acre field has been planted with over 400 trees and shrubs.

The fallow area which is part of the 11 acre Sundeala site has been stocked with native species of trees and shrubs such as Hornbeam, Alder, Oak, Ash, Lime, Maple and Rowan along with Spindle, Hazel, Wayfaring and Holly. This is just another step taken by Sundeala to help with sustainability in the local area. The arboretum will be a natural haven for wild life when mature.
